The Omaha Board of Directors is the implementation arm of the American Cancer Society in the Omaha metro area.Members work in partnership with staff to ensure that the fundraising and mission goals of their community are met.Members work with other leadership volunteers to solve problems, open doors, and represent the Society in their community to support the mission of the American Cancer Society.The board integrates the priorities and activities of community engagement partners, health systems, and corporate and distinguished partners that are within its specified geography. As well as the priorities and activities of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN).

July 2016 / July 17 - Partnered with Felsburg, Holt & Ullevig and Iowa Department of Transportation to implement an application serving Storm Water Inspections for iOS and Windows.Aided in designing a tool that offers efficiency and best practices by creating wire frames, specifications and artifacts to aid in discussion and development. Due to budget restraints, fulfilled multiple roles to ensure the highest level of product, service and quality is delivered while building a Storm Water Inspection tool helping fulfill all Federal requirements. These roles are not limited to Client Relationship Manager, requirements manager, meeting facilitator, experience designer, documentation, configuration and all testing. Collaborated with Iowa Department of Transportation to create a tool that offers efficiency and best practices by creating wire frames, specifications and artifacts to aid in discussion and development. 100% Remote – collaborated using JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Google Hangouts, Skype, iPresent, join.me, email and telephone. Planning and collaboration once a month in Lincoln, NE.

Liaison between vendor, TPA and Operations - vendor is Agile, TPA is waterfall and Operations is the customer. Facilitating meetings with FGL, vendor and TPAs - Scrum ceremonies, requirements elicitation, prioritization, release planning, resource coordination and C-level status updates. Release Planning for vendor delivery, TPA development/delivery and FGL interdependencies - FIA and MYGA products. Asked to transition project management of Agile vendor release activities from TPA to FGL because of operational experience, relationships, Agile - Scrum experience and ability to communicate effectively for all involved.Modifying processes where it makes sense to streamline, provide additional communication and reduce time to production.

Agile BA/Product Owner that contributed to an outbound notification (SMS, fax, email, application push and IVR) redesign project that introduced Agile and SOA architecture, WS02 Enterprise Service Bus and Amazon Web Services to the organization.

Agile RA/BA/QA (telecommuted 100%) contributed to wellness website .NET platform redesign and maintenance using Kentico (CMS) in a Scrum framework; defined requirements for desktop, mobile and Spanish applications, assisted in design, created storyboards, and participated in Scrum Ceremonies.

Contributed to product development projects in workers compensation product suite.

Specifically involved with the Positive Train Control Systems project.

Accomplishments included: removed multiple hand-offs in the claims process, implemented floor layout changes for a leaner mail routing environment, built training material for quicker on-boarding, developed guidelines for monitor configuration and decreased lead time for Medicare Supplemental claims. The project continued to look at processes and how to reduce waste.Successfully added, tested and implemented letters using xPressions for Group Claims Insurance Management Department. Created solutions for more efficient uses of correspondence using xPressions
