The focus of his research was consent in data privacy law. The thesis, firstly, explained the problem of the lack of adequate mechanisms to exercise individual autonomy in relation to personal data and online services. Secondly, it showed how to effectively solve this problem by the application of particular regulatory mix based on the idea of privacy management. More details below.
