About Marc Keller

Marc is a global payments, innovation and financial technology (“fintech”) leader with over 25-years of experience in leading fast-growth businesses across both the US and Latin America. Marc Keller is currently a Vice President, and Head of New Business Development at Early Warning Systems, focused on PAZE eCommerce Wallet. He was most recently the Regional Head of Latin America and Global New Business for Convera Payments, the former Western Union Business Services B2B Global Payments and FX business spun out of Western Union in early 2022. He was formerly the Chief Commercial Officer of Velo Payments, where he built and led their overall go-to-market strategy having secured over $30M in equity commitment and developed a tier 1 bank, financial services and large enterprise pipeline as well as expanded and changed the company's Small Business and Dispursements GTM strategy leading to a 3x increase in revenue in that segment.Marc has a very distinct approach to business growth that has been developed during his payment leadership tenures that span across Samsung, The Boston Consulting Group, Citigroup, Bank of America, and multiple startups. Teams under his direction have launched solutions that disrupted the industry and cemented their standing as an Alternative Payments and Digital Commerce Contenders.Marc is also passionate about harnessing technology to support the global under-banked. To this end, he has participated in cross-industry coalitions, incubators and has spoken at industry-leading forums, including his 4 years of advisory work to the UNDP Remittances for Development Program. Marc co-created the ”Next Billion” program as an Executive-in-Residence at MIT’s Center for Future Banking – aimed at leveraging mobile globally to expand financial services to the under-banked.Marc holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Finance from McCombs (University of Texas) Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Literature/Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin as well as an MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.
