Started a Vietnamese language school with a colleague to provide Vietnamese language training to foreigners living in Vietnam. Built and led a marketing team to establish a strong local brand. Wrote the marketing plan and installed the marketing structure to support the marketing strategy for 2018 and 2019.

Built and managed the economic development piece of the Vietnam-Oregon Initiative (VOI), which is hosted at the Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. This project focused on creating trade opportunities for Vietnamese companies to export products into the Oregon market, and for Oregonian investors to find opportunities in Vietnam. Established an office in Hanoi, met with key members of the Ministry of Trade and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to establish relationships, and wrote an operations plan for the program.

Established a marketing strategy for this massive real-estate conglomerate’s fledgling Almaz division. Restructured the sales and marketing team, set strategic priorities, and installed compensation programs to motivate the marketing and sales teams.

Managed interactions with foreign clients, identified new potential international markets, and worked closely with the consular offices and chambers of commerce for each perspective international market. Worked with the operations manager to adjust product specifications and materials used to meet international standards. Assisted the domestic sales team to develop a sales promotion program for Vietnam.

Started at the company as an administrative assistant to the CEO, however after three months, was allowed to focus on marketing as the marketing coordinator. Developed all promotional materials for the company, assisted the sales staff on their visits with clients, met with suppliers, and built a marketing team. Also managed the office staff. After three years in Utah, moved to Oregon to open a remote office to serve clients in Northwestern USA. Established a client base in Oregon and Washington.
