My name is Michael Blasiak and I have been teaching for 16 years in American schools throughout Mexico, which utilize the MYP and IB framework. I currently hold a Masters of Educational Leadership, a Masters of Teaching, and a Bachelors of English Literature and Writing. My goal as a teacher is for my students to have an effective command of the English language in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I believe I am an effective educator as I am consistent, caring, and knowledgeable in my subject area. I also challenge my students and provide many differentiated ways of learning. The values that I share are a love of learning and cultivating a sense of family and community both inside and outside of the school.
