Over the last 26 years I have served in these positions: Farm Hand, CNC Machine Operator, Industrial Millwright, CAD designer, Project Co-ordinator, Project Manager, and Operations Manager.I have: cleaned milk pipes and cattle stalls, machined and inspected automobile parts, programmed and physically repaired state of the art automated equipment, designed structures and equipment for a variety of industries from chemical to food and agriculture, organized labour and logistics, controlled costs, procured and installed capital equipment, designed specific tooling and machines, streamlined custom manufacturing process, hired great employees, and mitigated risk and promoted growth throughout. I would have no issue cleaning a cattle stall today if it met the needs of our goal.My education is heavily weighted as hands on. At the age of 20 I was lucky enough to be given the responsibility to maintain equipment that supplied international auto manufacturers with the most precise components for their flagship products. This meant I was able to work with the best equipment and best minds at the forefront of development, I was certainly a student at this time and I am grateful for the exposure. While some may suggest that I lack the academic credentials often sought I have been able to prove my capacity by implementing; automation, detailed process, and structured research techniques with success.I've often been asked "what do you do for a living?" - The best answer I have is "make things work."
