* On the ground support for Québec based food & consumer product manufacturers exporting to New England * Extensive contacts with buyers at large retailers, independent stores, distributors, brokers and thought leaders.* Directly work with approximately 85 companies on an annual basis, resulting in +/- $65MM sales annually* Counsel clients in export strategy and identification of key partners throughout distribution and sales channels.* Develop and organize buyers’ trips to Québec and trade missions to New England* Report market information and sales results to government officials* Key involvement in organization and execution of high level government visits to New England (Minister and Premier level)

The Massachusetts Office of International Trade & Investment (MOITI) works to expand the Massachusetts economy by marketing the state’s business internationally, through focused export promotion, attracting foreign companies to invest in Massachusetts and handling protocol as it relates to trade and investment.• Project lead for foreign direct investment projects primarily based in Canada, France and the BeNeLux region, bringing companies to Massachusetts with a range of 1 to 300initial job counts.• Managed operational aspects of Foreign Direct Investment and other office activities• Negotiated and managed diplomatic agreements between Massachusetts, Canada and France• Supervised undergraduate and graduate internship programs• Collaborated with various state agencies and the private sector to best serve clients interested in expanding to Massachusetts
