Located in the heart of the city, Vancouver Community College (VCC) offers academic, cultural, and social environments that inspire relevant real-world training.As part of VCC's Marketing and Communications team, I support the College's internal and external programs, working closely with senior leadership, department heads, faculty, and service teams. I assist VCC’s recruitment and communications objectives and ensure messaging and materials are consistent and aligned. I proactively foster positive cross-campus client relationships with ourIndigenous Education, Mental Health, Registrar, Science, Adult Education, and Transportation departments. - Accountable for leading, executing and supporting campus-wide event programs and ceremonies. - Collaborate with graphic designers to produce a variety of creative assets and marketing collateral. - Support planning and executing of marketing strategies, tactics, and creative asset production. - Deliver strategic internal communications and collaborate with senior personnel, government officials and other stakeholders on sensitive or emerging issues. - Source and manage key suppliers.

Led and supported projects and campaigns targeting global brands and partners. Collaborated with senior leadership, design teams, and local and international sales teams to win new accounts and build strong partner relationships within the Library, Hospitality, Aviation and Marine verticals. - Created and edited content for pitch decks, presentations, newsletters, press releases, blogs and scripts. - Supervised development and production of videos and promotional collateral. - Managed social media channels and content.

Partnered with all verticals to develop and support both virtual and live event participation strategies. - Directed virtual and in-person trade show booth design and developed branded promotional content.- Responsible for schedules, budgets and sponsorship for international event programs.- Researched and managed international supplier networks and collateral production.

Developed and managed GuildOne’s social media strategy, created and edited content for online and print, and managed PR initiatives and strategies. Supervised trade show pavilion design, logistics, and sponsorship negotiation.

I redesigned the trade show and led exhibit sales of the 2019 VeloSpoke Expo, resulting in the most successful RBC GranFondo trade event to date. Nearly 10,000 attendees and riders connected with over 50 exhibitors, experienced multiple activations, and were entertained by live DJs as well as internationally recognized speakers from the cycling world.

Entrusted by executive leadership at the Vancouver Convention Centre and BC Place to create and review communications material - including annual reports, briefs, strategic plans and stakeholder presentations - to help align internal and external projects with government and corporate objectives.

Collaborated with BC Government and operational teams to ensure alignment of creative elements and key messaging, as well as manage collateral production and advertising campaigns.

Led real estate-industry business development and sales while directing integrated marketing campaigns to foster greater brand and industry awareness.

Responsible for national and international client acquisition as well as all marketing and communications strategies. Increased sales 50% year over year, and generated sales of over $1.8M during challenging economic period of 2008-9.
