At Repp Health we believe that situational awareness is the key unlocking drastic improvements in care efficiency. To enable the next generation of IoT and wireless sensors, we built the next evolution of this platform using AWS serverless technologies. The Dream Chaser Cargo System is an advanced, autonomous space plane aimed at streamlining the effectiveness of deliveries to and from the International Space Station. Individual achievements and responsibilities include: • Built a deorbit simulation in Python and C++ to analyze what-if scenarios for atmospheric spacecraft breakup • Accelerated the requirements validation of the Dream Chaser vehicle dynamics simulator by building pipelining analysis scripts in MATLAB and Python• Saved Sierra Nevada Corporation 100’s of labor hours by developing and deploying text scanning algorithms to verify compliance on 3000+ Range Safety requirements• Established or improved data pipelines where needed, especially when working with large data sets (> 50 GB) of Monte Carlo spacecraft trajectory data• Drafted a set of system requirements for the Modeling & Simulation team for Dream Chaser to ensure compliance to various modeling standards and verification of vehicle-level requirements• Stress analysis support for the propulsion subsystem, analyzing secondary structure • Served in a position of direct communication with various stakeholders, including NASA and Range Safety• Decomposed complex system anomalies and problem into manageable pieces; translation and communication of technical issues

I worked with the Subcellular Pan-Omics for the Advanced Rapid Threat Assessment SPARTA lab at the University of Colorado to develop an automated system to replace current technologies. This $14.6 million contract awarded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) aims to drastically reduce the time it takes to characterize how biological and chemical toxins affect human cells over time. My role in the development of this project included:- Microfluidic chamber design & fabrication; PDMS fabrication- Heat exchange / heat transfer network analysis on a micro scale to achieve > 200X improvement over current industry best- Control system design; Python; LabView VI Generation, MATLAB filtering- PCB design- Systems engineering: life cycle process definition and implementation

I worked closely with members of the Impact Extrusion group at Ball to simplify and expand the tools they have available to predict necessary tooling and accurately quote customers. I gained intimate knowledge of the impact extrusion process and how Ball conducts its business with customers. At the time, current methodologies to quote customers were dated and inaccurate. As a part of my duties, I was able to develop a software package in MATLAB that:- Allows Ball engineers to predict the tooling necessary to produce a specific can, and to predict can dimensions produced with a specific tooling set (running the process in reverse)- Allows Ball to accurately quote necessary slug thicknesses to customers, amounting to large savings in wasted metalI was also responsible for designing, modeling and drawing new thickness gauges in SolidWorks that have replaced existing and unreliable gauges.

I am part of a small team which provides IT help to engineering and administrative staff at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado. My duties include helping with, and overseeing troubleshooting related to technological issues so that the staff may continue their work uninterrupted.As a part of this position, I have gained knowledge in areas such as:- Network security- User machine deployment / custom configuration of hardware and software (LANDesk Suite)- Server deployment and maintenance- User account creation and maintenance
