In this tenure after E2open's acquisition of BluJay Solutions in September 2021, as the Director Cloud Engineering I am a member and manager of the cloud engineering team. I am responsible for designing, building and supporting business-critical public cloud infrastructure reliedupon by major global brands. I design, document and automate administrative, maintenanceand security procedures and controls. I organize, manage and deliver projects within the cloudengineering team and across teams. I review the work of other team members to ensuresecurity, availability, resiliency and cost standards are achieved. l assist, guide, mentor andassess the team members that report to me.

In this tenure, my main responsibility is to manage the cloud platforms by developing and executing a technology framework, while delivering technical leadership to support systems and services. I strategically design and implement global IT standards and infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting/logging systems, custom-built OS images and provisioning tools, security, and connectivity standards.A few key achievements in this tenure include:☞ Migrated legacy datacentre hosted SaaS applications to the AWS cloud by planning, architecting, and leading re-engineering processes.☞ Headed the technical implementation of a customer project by hosting a quite large BluJay application environment in AWS China in compliance with stringent Chinese data privacy laws. ☞ Established and implemented unified technology platforms for several products by collaborating with development and business leaders.

In this tenure, I managed complex projects on a global scale by delivering on time and within budget, while providing critical services with tight deadlines and high service level requirements. I provided continuous internet connectivity at the data centre via a dual provider setup (NL-ix, Cogentco) with redundancy and fail-over, using BGP, VRRP, and an active-active firewall cluster. I analysed the customers and transactional volumes for managed services, while providing an IT-architecture for three years.A few key achievements in this tenure include:☞ Led the implementation of hardware for global SaaS solutions of Kewill Service Logistics, resulting in supporting a maximum of 3.8 million time-critical service events per year for our Fortune 500 customers.☞ Executed a newly constructed private cage (15.1m2 19.2kVA, 8 racks) at Equinix AM1 by reviewing potential data centre candidates.☞ Developed Kewill Service Logistics an official Internet Service Provider (ISP) for provider independent class-C IP range and implemented at the new data centre.☞ Replaced older server hardware by a set of Oracle/Sun Enterprise M4000/5000 servers.☞ Transferred full customer production environment and all other equipment from the Almere data centre to Amsterdam facilities with no customer downtime by executing IP proxies and DNS configuration changes.

During the time over here, I co-operated with global infrastructure and platforms teams to ensure the smooth flow of new application by serving as front-end for global managed services group of Kewill for hosted customer projects.A few key achievements in this tenure include:☞ Transformed several application environments along with 300+ systems from the IBM data centre in Ohio to the newly created Kewill data centre location in Massachusetts.☞ Migrated Kewill to industry standard processed for hosted solutions and deployments by planning and implementing a DevOps model in collaboration with engineering representatives.☞ Enhanced the quality of hosted systems and reduced delivery time by communicating with architect for globalization of configuration management and deployment automation tools.
