• Demonstrated a critical role for Arp2/3 complex-nucleated branched actin networks in amplifying B cell responses to antigens displayed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells.• Conceptualised research plan and performed experiments using cutting-edge microscopy techniques to investigate the interaction between immune cells, resulting in 7 peer-reviewed research articles (4 as 1st author).• Developed quantitative image analysis approaches to quantify microscopy data using FIJI/R; published in eLife (IF: 8.7, viewed >3.8K times).• Supervised 6 undergraduate researchers. • Orchestrated an interdisciplinary research program that won the Friedman Fellowship; established an international collaboration with researchers from the Institut Curie to develop cutting-edge tools for measuring forces transmitted by immune cells.• Presented findings at 16 international conferences, leading to NIH and HHMI Janelia Research Campus collaborations.
