Strategically developed programs for veterans, which resulted in a 750% increase of veterans on campus, ultimately gaining Quinnipiac University the following designations: 3rd in the nation for private military-friendly schools; 1st in the nation for military-friendly schools offering doctoral programs; 1st in the state of Connecticut for military-friendly schools.Increased SVO budget through fundraising, lobbying the school’s student government, and acquiring private and corporate donors, resulting in increased programming, and supports for veterans.Successfully advocated for campus veterans with QU administration, which resulted in the following: funded position for Director of Military and Veterans’ Affairs, and a 1,000 square-foot “ready room”

-Team leader for all ordnance evolutions.-Led between 11 and 40 junior sailors, depending on the evolution.-Overhauled USS Kearsarge's multi-million dollar Ordnance Handling Equipment (OHE) program. This included inventorying, tracking, maintaining, and buying all equipment that was used to handle ordnance; this project required scrupulous attention to detail, as well as individual initiative to ensure the Kearsarge Strike Group and the 26 Marine Expeditionary Unit were ready for deployment in 2010.-Team Leader, SSDF (SWAT)-Member, Security Reaction Force (SRF): Responsible for the day-to-day security of the USS Kearsarge while overseas and in-port Norfolk, VA.-Member, Security Reaction Force training team: Trained all Basic SRF members on Standard Operating Procedures and Tactics used in the self defense of the USS Kearsarge.-Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist EAWS: Advanced specialization in all aspects of aviation warfare. -Supervisor, Flight Deck Ordnance shop: Supervised all junior sailors during the day-to-day flight deck operations; including the safe handling, arming, and disarming of all aviation ordnance.-Supervisor, Magazine Nine: Supervised all ordnance evolutions within Magazine Nine, the small arms stowage site on the USS Kearsarge. This ordnance included ammunition packages for Special Operations Forces (SOF), and had to be ready 24/7 through out our 2010-2011 deployment for issue to rescue teams within the SOF teams.
