Hubfindme is building a community platform that is tailored to the needs of people in the tech ecosystem (professionals, founders, startups, communities, investors and accelerators) across Africa. As the community and partnerships lead at Hubfindme, I have added value in the following ways:1. Grew social media following organically, by creating engaging content and posting on the various social media platforms.2. Increased number of people on the waitlist significantly, by doing active outreach, speaking at Twitter Spaces and posting on social media.3. Created, publicized and hosted a Twitter Space that attracted about 500+ listeners.

In my work as an administrative assistant and front desk representative, I have excelled and added value by doing the following:1. Boosting client satisfaction and interest by advocating the benefits of the services offered by GASO. This led to the acquisition of new clients for the company.2. Providing relevant information by answering client questions and requests, scheduling meetings and offering customer support.3. Making visitors/clients comfortable and safe by warmly receiving them, conducting safety and emergency inductions.4. Providing timely escalation of partner-clients issues to the relevant parties. 5. Established proper maintenance schedules for office equipment and facilities. This enhanced employee work output by providing a conducive environment for work.6. Creating social media presence for the company by creating content and posting on the various platforms.

The skills and experiences I obtained from interning with Gold Fields were applied during my national service and were improved to achieve the following:1. Accurate readings from lab tests, as a result of effectively supervising samplers and making sure they take samples correctly.2. Preparing correct pulp samples for X-ray Fluorescence reading.3. Increase in the number of X-ray Fluorescence readings per day.4. Preparing and writing of accurate daily, weekly and monthly mining reports.5. Keeping team motivated by leading and facilitating morning meetings.6. Having an accurate record of drilled sample logs.

A course I took in level 300 required me to have an industrial internship to learn and gain real world experiences as a geologist. I interned with Abosso Gold Fields LTD and during my stay, I acquired the following skills and experience:1. Core logging and sampling.2. Supervision of Reverse Circulation (RC) and Diamond drilling.3. Structural and lithological mapping.4. Plotting, sketching and interpreting structures and lithological contacts on maps 5. Detecting magnetic susceptibility of drilled core samples.6. Ore spotting and delineation.7. Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) report writing.

After Senior High School, I joined iSpace as an intern, after I had completed the Junior Camp Internship Program(JCIP) training which lasted for two weeks.I spent about two months working as an intern at iSpace and during the period I was able to learn some relevant skills such as: 1. Event organization and Team work: I was a member of the organizing team of the first ever Science Hack Day in Ghana in August 2015. I also assisted with organizing tech programs and events such as the TGIF Pitch Zone where start ups pitch their ideas to investors.2. Content creation: I assisted with creating and curating content for the company's online blog.3. Communication: I responded to and answered queries from clients and event attendees via phone calls and emails.4. Google Docs and Sheets: I learnt how to collaborate and communicate with team members online using Docs and Sheets. 5. Organization and attention to detail: I Acted as secretary for team meetings; taking minutes and sharing with other team members.
