I am presently employed as an Accountant with eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, where I have gained a reputation not only for my impressive work rate and integrity but also for my pervasive / soft skills. I am a self-motivated individual, who is able to perform well under pressure & who can bring to the table solid capabilities in areas such as Reconciliations, financial accounts management, monthly reporting, Budgets, Forecasting and AFS preparation, knowledge of the MFMA, SCM procurement processes, GAAP & IFRS Standards etc. I take great pride that I have Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts (mSCOA) experience and been involved in the implementation of mSCOA project as eThekwini Municipality is one of the Metros in South Africa who have complied with the mSCOA in the financial year 2016/2017 as required by National Treasury.Currently I am looking to join an exciting and ambitious organization.
