Purification of organic chemicals using distillation techniques by conducting the following:- Setting up and adjusting distillation equipment by operating heating, cooling, vacuum, and pressure systems- Using analytical equipment such as Gas Chromatography for assessing quality of distillation cuts and final products by interpreting results.- Transporting, weighing, and mixing/pumping chemical materials - Monitoring of process parameters in order to ensure the quality of product and the yields/lot consistency-Ensuring proper care, safety, and maintenance during usage of systems and equipment/instruments- Maintaining all the necessary production, safety, inventory, training, and other records or logs as required

• Use instrumentation for testing GC-MS, Karl Fischer, UV-Vis, FT-IR, ICP-MS, DMA, pH meter, Titrations.• Conduct stability tests on product to ensure that they still meet specifications.• Manage independent experiments by analyzing various samples.• Follow Test Methods, Work Instructions, SOPs, Best Practices, and standards of excellence within a ISO registered and cGMP regulated environment.• Calibrate instruments completed on a daily basis, as well as troubleshooting in order to maintain the progress of each instrument.• Ensure that product testing meets Kosher, HACCP, OSHA, Organic, and TTB (BATF) requirements and regulations.• Conduct daily preparations of documents involving Certificate of Analysis of all finalized samples are done using Microsoft software, as well as releasing products to customers using Navision.• Participate in cross-functional teams to conduct quality assurance initiatives.• Build consensus and support among all stakeholders for continuous quality improvement.• Use ongoing data collection, analysis and trending to take a proactive versus reactive response to risks and opportunities.• Utilize analytics as a baseline for continuous quality improvement.• Serve as a change agent focusing on corrective actions, cost efficiencies, data accuracy and integrity, compliance, and bottom-line profitability.• Collaborate and partner with internal customers including R&D, quality assurance, production and compliance.• Part of Safety Committee, exploring ideas to improve outcomes.
