My practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate, real estate development, commercial leasing, financing and business transactions. I provide my clients with general consultation and guidance in legal matters to business clients, leveraging my transactional experience with my firm’s specialists in taxation, employment law and securities to serve my clients’ needs. My peers often call upon me to assist them with their client's real estate and business transactional disputes to gain perspective on the best course of resolution. As a Board Certified Attorney in Real Estate Law since 2009, I joined the approximately 450 Florida attorneys who have achieved the highest level of recognition of an attorney’s competency and expertise in the areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida. I regularly speak before realtors, attorneys and businesses groups on commercial and residential real estate transactions, leasing issues, title matters, and ad valorem tax valuation challenges. Additionally, the Clearwater City Council appointed me to the Community Development Board and previously served on other city boards and committees. At the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Clearwater, I have served in leadership roles and as general counsel since 1993 and most recently elected President of the community for 2017. The broad range of legal services I offer allowed me to represent a commercial developer in his purchase of vacant land through 1031 Exchange. After closing I assisted with the negotiation of title and survey defects, development agreements, easements, ground leases and commercial leases resulting in a mixed use residential multi-family and retail complex with public and private parking I was honored to be recognized in The Best Lawyers In America® 2018 and named a Florida Super Lawyers 2015, 2016 and 2017.
