Data, Performance And Systems Manager (Family Services)
CurrentCurrently manage the largest Children’s Service data and performance team in London, consisting of 16 analysts, performance officers and systems specialists. With the use of expert leadership, I ensure the effective development of Children’s Service ICT systems, with a focus on social care to enhance and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the Children’s Service and support the service in meeting its statutory duties.➢ Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with software suppliers, IS and NCSCSO providers, and partner agencies with outstanding communication skills; these aid to ensure the uninterrupted operation of systems and promote developments to support emerging service requirements.➢ Currently the operational lead for records management, including retention and destruction and being the key contact for data protection law and GDPR compliance and advice. I manage projects to ensure that the council is compliant with any law and practice changes.➢ Created a performance framework that was commended by the DfE as one of the most robust they have seen recently in a local authority. This included the monitoring of KPIs and CPIs, audit and data quality policy and projections of service usage to predict future financial spend and spot the opportunity for efficiency savings. My analysis guided the senior management team into making my findings a service priority.➢ Manage projects that include systems migrations, the roll out of new software, restructuring of services and delivering gold standard products within challenging timescales.
