The concept of being an engineer has always made perfect sense for my character. The second I am faced with a problem I want to know everything there is about it to find the best solution. It shows in the work I do, even if its just using a software I always want to see if I can find some method offered within the program to do the same high quality work but with an even faster turn around. However it gets even more interesting when I am faced with something complex. As of recent I launched an L1 rocket and attained my L1 license through the national association of rocketry and one of the biggest issues most ran into upon the landing of the rocket was not being able to find it out on this large property with one million places it could be in the tall cornfields. While the issue is easily solved with technology we already possess, I want to figure out how that technology works. When I came to find out that within the aerospace and EV industry that navigation and tracking was one of the big things computer engineers worked on I wanted to immediately jump at that opportunity to see if I could use this skills I am developing in python to make my own small scale tracking system for my rocket. That remains today's current personal project, and while the technology already exists it doesn't stop my drive from wanting to experience for myself how many complex issues I need to solve before getting it to work. I believe my job experience will greatly benefit me in this endeavor. I have always thought that my time in college wasn't just learning different concepts and theories to apply them but rather I saw it as being repetitively being put in the same situation by engineers of the past to learn how to solve a problem, and to continue to get better at solving them until a time limit is no longer an obstacle for your mind.
