I have what could definitely be described as an eclectic background. I am a physicist by training, having attained a bachelor's degree in the field from Boston University. In addition to my undergraduate work, I spent three years at The University of Texas at Austin working towards a PhD in biophysics. In between, I worked for a company in Boston, working on prototype color-capable night vision devices. I've always enjoyed solving problems, and I have a deep respect for anybody who can swiftly disregard irrelevant details and get to the heart of a complicated issue by making it as simple as possible. It's very gratifying whenever I manage to get to the bottom of something that seemed impossibly complex at first, and come back with a viable solution. I tend to gravitate to work where I have a steady supply of challenging problems to solve.I'm currently working as a software developer in Austin, TX.
