My role at Xccelerated is to design the Data Science accelerator program and train and coach the Data Science fellows throughout their year at Xccelerated.

PyData is a community of data scientists and developers that share and learn about developments of data analytics tools and methodologies, mostly in Python. The committee organizes monthly meetups and a yearly conference hosting 300+ people.

As Data Scientist at Riviq I act as an advisor and lead developer in big data and analytics projects. In the big data environment, I take lead in developing complex and scalable big data solutions. Also, I advise the analytics team on methodology, feature engineering, algorithm choices and implementations and the interpretation of developed machine learning models

The software development department at Systems Navigator was traditionally a relatively small and unstructured team of two full-time developers. However, with several major opportunities for growth, there was a need to increase the productivity of the department. As Lead Developer at Systems Navigator, I: - Introduced a full software development process based on SCRUM including transparent progress reports to management and customers and detailed review meetings; - Increased collaboration and knowledge exchange between the sales department, the consultants department and the development department; - Increased the percentage of projects on time; - Increased average client satisfaction; - Increased codebase quality by introducing code reviews and setting up individual educational tracks.

Liquid Bulk is one of the largest industries of the modern world. In this industry, good planning and scheduling is essential for obtaining efficient results. During this graduation project I designed and build a scheduling support system for application in liquid bulk storage terminals which focuses on incorporating the multi-level preferences from all relevant stakeholders involved in liquid bulk operations and is intended to assist operators in their daily operations, rather than replace them.

Systems Navigator is an independent software consultancy firm based in Delft, The Netherlands. It specializes in the design and creation of decision support solutions based on Operations Research technology. Systems Navigator's expertise is in using a combination of discrete event simulation and optimization for decision support models that can predict system performance, as well as can be used for operational decision making by means of planning and/or scheduling. As a software developer within Systems Navigator I mostly focus on the development of a Simulation as a Service Web Platform and the design and implementation of several operational planning solutions.
