To that end, I serve as the Vice Chairman of the Responsible AI Institute, a non-profit advancing human-centric, responsible AI.Before returning to IBM, I was the Global Chief Data and AI Officer at Tecnotree, where I focused on bringing cutting edge data and AI technologies to life for Tecnotree clients across the globe in the Telecom and Healthcare industries. Before joining Tecnotree, I was the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at CognitiveScale where I led products and technology including the award-winning Cortex platform. As the technology visionary for the company, I built world's 4th largest AI patent portfolio and helped clients realize the business value of Trusted AI across financial services, healthcare, and digital commerce industries.Prior to founding CognitiveScale, I was inaugural member of the IBM Watson Group, where I led IBM Watson Labs to develop new products and solutions using IBM Watson technology. Prior to joining the IBM Watson Group, I was Lead Architect and Senior Technical Staff Member working on IBM’s Business Process Management and Service Oriented Architecture product portfolios.
