Started as Operations Engineer at oil sands operations in Peace River, then moved to head office in Calgary and worked first as a Project Development Engineer and then a Reservoir Engineer all for the same business unit. Key achievements during this period include:- Project manager for Pads 42 & 43, a $25 million, two pad, multi-well cold production development program.Project manager for Shell's 2006/2007 Peace River stratigraphic/delineation drilling campaign, and cold production appraisal (production test) wells campaign. Responsible and accountable for all front-end planning and required regulatory submissions.-Leader of plan High Potential Incident team. Team was responsible for reviewing incidents, as part of Shell Canada's incident management system, to assess whether an incident could have had a worse severity in terms of its initial risk assessment ranking.
