But often, things get lost once that perspective and skill set move on to the next client. And when (not if) customer needs and the market changes, you may need to hire them back to help you pivot.I don’t want to do the work for you. I aim to enable you and your team to do it yourself. I train and coach your team as they do the work hands-on. I am a strategic problem solver, design thinker, and player/coach passionate about helping teams level up their design skills so they can tackle the hard things they don’t think they can do now. Whether leading a project, facilitating a workshop, or guiding a team, I strive to be a leader who motivates others and drives success. My default mode is collaboration, and I love helping colleagues become more effective leaders and facilitators. I love the challenge of tackling a steep learning curve in a new domain and trying to bring clarity to the incomprehensible.I’ve worked in digital product and service design for over 25 years, leading projects in financial services, healthcare, higher education, energy and utilities, and other industries. I work primarily as a researcher and strategist, applying design thinking methods to help teams discover insights about customer needs, identify opportunities for innovation, and ideate on potential solutions. And I love to teach these methods and help teams operationalize them.
