I received my Master of Science degree in Communication at Portland State in June of 2022. After decades in IT project management and architecture for software development, I was fortunate enough to return to university to earn my master's degree. It was a return to the stimulating and inspiring world of study and research. In this second, post-graduate phase of my career, I hope to share my knowledge and experience as teacher, researcher, and consultant, to improve life and work for my communities.Prior to returning to grad school, I wrapped up 14 years with Optum/UnitedHealth, where I turned business needs into technology solutions, working with Agile Program Teams and Scrum Teams to deliver mission-critical software products. Over the years, I've also been a project and program manager for everything from software development to print production to social events, for industries ranging from health care to insurance to consumer products. I have Professional Certifications as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM); and in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF 9.1).
