Education: Created and delivered a standardized onboarding process for all new Pre-Hospital Care Specialists. Designed standardized education and CQI initiatives related to new certifications, return to practice and academic certifications. Developed multiple Train the Trainer programs to allow EMS Services and Colleges to deliver education that is consistent with provincial content and objectives to be taught to their Paramedics and Students. QA & CQI Initiatives: Revised quality assurance processes to better align with provincial standards and medical directives, reducing duplicity and redundancy, resulting in a substantial decrease of thirty-two percent (32%) in the overall number of audits requiring a review. With the introduction of an upgraded platform, additional parameters can be implemented to decrease call audits further.

Education: I developed and delivered certification, remediation, continuing education, and skills maintenance programs, ensuring consistency and best practices. I coordinated developing, evaluating, and revising educational materials to comply with legislation and policies. I mentored paramedics for safe patient care. They liaised between the Base Hospital and cross-departmental resources for paramedicine projects. Monitored paramedic performance, analyzed data, identified new hires and certification process gaps and implemented a multidisciplinary certification approach, increasing the candidate success rate by forty-seven percent (47%). Shared costs and resources reduced spending by fifty-three percent (53%) per candidate. The improved process nearly eliminated third-round testing. These processes were applied to both Primary and Advanced Care Paramedicine Portfolios under my management.QA & CQI Initiatives: Developed and promoted a safety-first QA program by coordinating investigations and reviews of paramedic practice. Tailored QA filters to provincial standards and medical directives, reducing overall auditing by sixty-three percent (63%) and improving turnaround times. Ensured adherence to best practices and identified gaps through a feedback loop to education initiatives.
