Remote volunteer for the Global Development Office headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Main duties revolve around the research, assessment and preparation of grant awards.

Worked along the southwest borderlands with local and long-term No More Deaths volunteers doing humanitarian aid drops to US-MEX border-crossers (water, food, blakets, etc.) in remote areas, as well as helping maintain a consistent presence at the No More Deaths humanitarian aid camp. Provided interpretation (SPA-EN) in various situations, including for basic medical treatments.

Client-based activities: assisting in monitoring, reporting, and coordinating all France-based activities (Paris and Bordeaux) with local and international partners. Analytical-focus: cleaning, comparing, and sharing data reports with internal and external stakeholdersCommunication-focus: syncronizing and facilitating information between local employees, exec team, and partners/clients in French, Spanish, and English40 hrs/week funded by a grant from the Chamber of Commerce of Gijon, Spain (PICE mobility plan)

Interdisciplinary role with the objective of building operational, administrative, and financial capacity within the organization. Primary focus: grant research, writing, submission, and management. Secondary role: supported operational growth and development related to in-take and ouput processes, data management, and record keeping. Designed, built and implemented a new inventory system using Microsoft Access which digitalized and automated all donation and reporting processes.

Paid position which revolved around the collection of donations over the phone for the college’s fundraising campaign. Gathered significant experience in fundraising and a better understanding of the power of incentives, good marketing, and personal relationships.

Four year Federal Work-Study position carried out while completing my B.A.. Hours ranged between 8-12/week. Key duties included set up and scheduling of meeting rooms, conferences; routine maintenance of games room and office supplies; person of contact for students and non-students

Working for High Caliber Home Improvement during my summer and winter breaks from school, I helped with general administrative and operational tasks such as picking up and delivering construction materials to different job sites, meeting with clients and design partners to communicate developments on the job sites, and cleaning and preparing job sites as needed. Additionally, I helped with simpler construction/remodeling tasks such as hanging insulation, painting, loading materials, etc.

As a summer intern at Eumelia, I gained knowledge in sustainable development, waste mitigation strategies, biotechnologies, permaculture systems, and tourism. Day-to-day tasks included farm work, project research, and help with guest accommodation and tours.
