As LBMC's first Chief Growth Officer, I am responsible for initiating, driving, and overseeing growth-related activities and initiatives across the firm. This includes setting the firm's growth strategy and defining tactical initiatives, building and leading a nationwide sales team, coordinating lead-generation and brand-related activities with our marketing team, working closely with other firm shareholders to maximize their sales capabilities within their services lines and clients, and assisting our industry segments in achieving their growth goals.

The Southern CISO Security Council was formed by Phil Agcaoili (Chief Security Architect, Scientific Atlanta), John Penrod (CISO, The Weather Channel), and Mark Burnette (Executive Director of IT Operations & Security, Gaylord Entertainment Company) to support the endeavors of CISOs and other top risk, compliance, and privacy executives in the South by providing a private forum to share ideas, concerns, and intelligence. Members have met in person at regional round tables, conferences, and some serve on boards, committees, and councils together. Membership is invitation-only and meetings are closed-door events.

Oversee and direct LBMC’s Risk Services practice nationwide. LBMC Information Security provides cybersecurity consulting and audit/attestation services to companies across the United States. Our attestation services include PCI, HITRUST, FedRAMP, FISMA, ISO 27001, SOC 1,2,3 and SOC for Cybersecurity, and ACAB (Local Access Death Master File) certification. Our consulting services include cybersecurity risk assessments, security policy development, virtual security officer leadership services, penetration testing, web application security assessments, GDPR compliance, and cyber forensics.

Infrastructure function includes servers, desktops, network, database, and information security teams. Responsible for aiding senior management in making informed decisions about technology risks and ensuring there are adequate protection mechanisms in place for all of the company's electronic assets. I co-founded the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association in 2001 and finished my last term as President in 2006. Under my leadership, the Chapter grew to more than 120 members and initiated such key initiatives as the InfoSec Nashville security conference, annual joint meetings with ISACA and InfraGard, a partnership with i-Safe, funding of an annual student scholarship with Nashville State Technical Community College. At the end of 2006, the Chapter gave me a special award in appreciation of my contributions.
