Under the clinical dietitian's direction, I was responsible for resident contact, nutrition care, resident menu management, data collection, initial nutrition screening, communication of resident needs, and dining/kitchen supervising. Before my career change to Nutrition and Dietetics, I obtained a dual degree (AD/BS) in Chemical Engineering Technology and Industrial Chemical Processes from the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo, Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Butler-Sanchez is currently working towards her credentialing as a Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner.I also volunteer as a Social Media Chair for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group.
