As PR and Communications Advisor, I advised the IEA on public affairs and communications. I was also responsible for PR outreach, managed their international media relations, and acted as their spokesperson for international study releases. I also drafted and implemented advocacy initiatives to increase country participation in their comparative studies, and developed partnerships with organisations across the globe.

As Public Outreach Officer at the permanent Secretariat of the IEA, I was responsible for designing and implementing the IEA’s external communication strategy and public interaction at the international level. - Conducted a 1-year re-branding process, managing a US-based agency and a variety of internal stakeholders.- Built a media list and managed to feature the Association and its Executive Director in several outlets: BBC, El País, El Mundo, The Guardian, Education Week, La Nación, Corriere de la Sera, TES, The Telegraph, Le Figaro, Politico, Forbes, CNN, etc.- Designed and implemented the communications plan for three international comparative studies involving more than 70 countries each. Plans included the production of clips, infographics, media packs and launch events.- Designed and implemented a social media strategy for the organisation, including growth hacking techniques.- Acted as their spokesperson before the international media and government officials globally. Drafted and implemented advocacy initiatives to increase country participation rates in comparative studies.

- As a freelance consultant, I assisted the Account Director of the agency on different PR and Communications projects. Clients included utilities, finance, and large corporations with operations in Africa.- Tasks included directly liaising with clients as well as managing an in-house studio and external suppliers to deliver: artwork, animations, video production, events and internal communication campaigns. Also writing press releases, proofreading speeches, writing case studies for award entries, consolidating media plans, building media lists, reaching out to journalists, defining angles and pitching stories to journalists.- Wrote strategy for internal and External Communication Campaigns.- Financial Communications: Managed the press office at The Global African Investment Summit 2015 (TGAIS) in London. - CSR Communications: Managed the production of a short documentary in Nigeria for Ecobank and The Global Fund.
