Interned at the Department of Combustion, Gasification & Propulsion Laboratory (CGPL).Technologies: Java, Java Swings, JDBC, HSQLDB.1. Designed and implemented an IoT based application to read and record the pressure values of the Gassifier system using Raspberry Pi-enabled camera and image processing techniques. 2. Raspberry Pi was programmed to trigger the camera every 15 seconds to capture an image of a multi-tube manometer connected to the gasifier. The images were processed and corresponding generated data was stored in the database.3. The application also provided a User Interface with a tabular and graphical representation of data which helped the scientists understand patterns in pressure variations.4. Collaborated with the faculty of Indian Institute of Science and RNS Institute of Technology to understand the problem domain and to arrive at optimal solutions.5. Tested the application in phases during development.6. Application was successfully deployed at CGPL of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and is being used by the scientists.7. Awarded as the 2nd best project in Project Open House exhibition among over 100 projects on display.
