Capital projects run on systems but are built by people. Assets do not generate revenue until they are built. Builders do not make a living until they actually build the assets. And assets do not get built without a design and a plan. We can't have an industry without an infrastructure, and we can't make revenue without an asset.This is why I am fortunate to be a part of the design, construction, and capital projects industry. As an AEC and capital projects professional with a passion for high-performance project execution, my experience includes project management and pre-construction development spanning over $2B in renewable energy, commercial, government, medical, education, and structural steel project portfolios. I am a fanatical nerd of building and tweaking systems and processes, with focus areas in integrated project delivery, systems/process design, technology implementation, and Virtual Design/Construction. At the heart of all this nerdery, however, is my belief that projects are built by people - people drive successful projects, successful infrastructure, successful assets.My professional vision has always been the same - To deliver good, efficient, and really cool work while not driving my wife and daughter crazy.
