Our award winning and coveted Vicio Mezcal first landed in the US in the summer of 2015. The only way you could understand it all is if I told you over a glass of Vicio.

Externally : Expanding Solar States education programs and efforts to pave the way for careers in the green collar economy, starting in our city and reaching beyond. Internally : enhancing internal learning and development programs for employee enrichment and improvement.

Optimizer. Responsible for monitoring and creating best business practices and processes to improve service, profitability and overall efficiency with an eye on financial health and records, material cost, job costing and forecasting.

Since 2010, worked directly with owner/founder/CEO on every aspect of building up business and operations - brand promotion, brewing operations and sales, legal, insurance, financial and accounting, brewpub operations and sales, on and off site event coordination, business development and business relations and human resources. Teamed with marketing heads to create company's mission, goals and vision statements. Drove company growth through effective collaboration with production, sales and marketing departments. Identified and implemented opportunities to improve business process flows and overall departmental effectiveness. 2015 - Expanded with alternating brewing location to launch Dock Street beer in bottles for distribution.2017 - Expanded with Dock Street Cannery + Tasting Lounge, which we opened in a former garage adjacent to West Philly brewpub. The original location for the expansion into canning and a space that served as an award winning cocktail lounge. 2019 - Dock Street Brewery opened a second location, which tripled brewing and canning capacity, in Philadelphia's Point Breeze neighborhood.

Working directly with owner. Publicity and promotion for beer releases and special events, events coordinator, all that falls under the advertising and marketing umbrella, in-house web lady and graphic designer. Selling draft beer to bars and restaurants in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. Responsible for website design, press releases, events. Coordinator for beer dinners, tastings, firkins, and other events at bards in Philadelphia region as well as Dock Street Brewpub.

Laid the groundwork for the company's marketing 'shop' by developing a marketing budget, a marketing plan and a marketing department. In-house Public Relations Specialist and Head Graphic Designer. Also wore the hat of Event Planner and Donation Coordinator. Played a role in the development of new brands and product promotion. Played a major role in promotion, development and sales of new brands and products from England and Australia. Responsible for the writing, designing, obtaining sponsorship and printing of the quarterly company statement and newsletter.

Tapinko.com was a startup company that was born and sponsored by Philadelphia's DreamIt Ventures. I joined the team as they were seeking substantial investor involvement. I worked with the founders to perfect their marketing plan and outreach. During my time I was able to get new key accounts to start using the service and ran a successful public relations/ social media campaign.
