I majored in Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering (B.Sc., Piri Reis University, 2016) and obtained two M.Sc. degrees in Maritime Transportation Engineering (Istanbul Technical University, 2019) and Industrial Engineering (Galatasaray University, 2022). I started my PhD in Galatasaray University on Industrial Engineering and completed necessary PhD courses on the field. Currently, I am continuing my PhD studies in Central Lille on MADIS in conjunction with my position as a PhD researcher in Centre Inria de l'Université de Lille for HEU-SUM project in Team INOCS and TU Delft SUM-Lab.My current research fields are MaaS, shared urban mobility, pricing models, bi-level programming with user behavioral modelling and incentive designs.My secondary research fields are maritime routing optimization, machine learning applications and sustainable operational management in maritime transportation, green ports, smart shipping and supply chain applications. I worked as a Research Assistant at Piri Reis University Maritime Faculty for more than 6 years. Within off-campus duties, I worked as as the Academic Assistant to Coordinator and as a Lecturer at Mohammed Bin Ghanim Al-Ghanim Naval Academy for Piri Reis University for 2 semesters in 2022. My onboard experience comprise of crude oil tanker, general cargo ships, training ship.In line with my research fields on green shipping, I worked at IO’s shipbrokers as a decarbonization specialist for 5 months.Now, I am working as a PhD researcher at Centre Inria de l'Université de Lille in Team INOCS.I also worked as a Freelance translator in DSE Studios (in correlation with Netflix) for couple of years.
