I am an editor/animator/sound designer/programmer. I love learning and solving problems. Recently I created an Alexa video skill to play videos from our website. This involved creating the skill in node.js in a lambda function, and writing a Drupal module on our website to communicate with the lambda function.In 1998, at my first editing job, I was given the opportunity to build a website with a user forum. I taught myself HTML, Javascript and Perl to complete the task, setting up a dual career.In 2005, while working as an editor in Philadelphia, I offered to build my company a Dropbox-like website to allow clients to download review videos of their projects. At the time, there was no Dropbox and we were delivering videos via ftp which was problematic on many levels. Clients had difficulty understanding how to use ftp and there was only one person in the facility who knew how to create new areas/users on the ftp which created a bottleneck. My system allowed any employee to create user accounts for clients and upload videos.I am currently working for a media company in Manhattan as a senior editor.
