Michael has the opportunity to work and serve in a number of related roles. He is the Director of Operations and Finance for a private real estate development firm in the Washington, DC metro region, and also a Principal at Bowman, a national publicly traded engineering consulting firm. He is experienced in deal administration, analysis, underwriting, capital stack structuring, and equity capitalization. Michael is responsible for the development, maintenance, and execution of project business plans and project delivery. He specializes in project optimization for the development of large-scale commercial and private residential development projects throughout the region.Michael earned his master's in Real Estate Development and Finance from Georgetown University and his bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.Michael is an adjunct instructor with Georgetown University where he teaches Real Estate Finance, Portfolio Management, and Structured Finance, as well as also serves as a thesis advisor. In addition, he is an adjunct instructor at Virginia Tech where he teaches Applied Real Estate Development. He holds his Professional Engineering licenses and has passed CFA Level I.Michael is a self-motivated and driven individual with dynamic and innovative ideas. He has had a variety of in-depth, hands-on experiences and works as an extremely proactive team player who diligently strives toward common goals.
