The environments that have been migrated were Active Directory 2003 and range in size from a single Domain Controller with 10 or less users to multiple servers in multiple sites with several hundred users in a range of industries including automotive, construction, education, and health care. Completed multiple VMware ESX 5.1 implementations or troubleshooting engagements, the environments ranged in size and complexity. The environments were a mix of single server hosts with no redundancy and multiple hosts with redundancy such as vMotion, HA, and DRS. Also, an offsite tape-vaulting vender was evaluated and selected to store tapes in accordance with the newly established backup retention policy.Designed and implemented an alphabetized mailbox storage structure for the North American Exchange 2007 environment. This was done at the same time the backend storage was migrated from a HP MSA 1500 SAN to an EMC CX4-120 SAN. This was done to move the mail storage to a faster more reliable SAN and to better control the Exchange mail database size.

As a part of this project the large and complex Active Directory environment was migrated from 2003 Native Mode to 2008 Native Mode. All file data was migrated.I was a part of the team that moved the primary data center to Lifeline Data Center. As a part of that move the following projects were completed:• Moved all production servers to a highly available data center through several move events that were designed to limit the amount of downtime to users.• Researched, designed, and implemented a new Citrix XEN Server farm to support KAR’s Citrix Presentation Server farm. • Researched, designed, and implemented a new Exchange 2003 email environment. The environment consisted of a six-node (three active and three passive) mailbox store cluster as well as two front-end (OWA) servers. The cluster was designed to ensure maximum uptime for 10,000 end users.
