COO of IC Group, a trusted partner providing digital solutions to Fortune 500 brands, and President of Paradyme Consultants, Inc., an international tech business strategy consulting company that helps SMBs operationalize IT and software projects.Early in my engineering career, while I was working a full-time IT job and pursuing my MBA, my friends and I started an Internet company. We built the idea on the back of a napkin at a restaurant one day, and within two years, that company became a multi-million dollar organization with 50+ employees. We acquired 10+ companies through that business before achieving a sizable exit. Over the next several years, I led a management buyout and served as an advisor for numerous companies. I also spearheaded turnarounds for several businesses and took on a CIO position at one. I have relocated and worked internationally in Sydney Australia, New York and Minneapolis USA, London UK, and business experiences from France and Oslo Norway to name a few. This experience provided me the ability to look at business issues from various lenses and approach solutions that are crafted for the business in their operating region. Today, I serve as a COO and build high-performing teams that help drive operational efficiency through tech and position the company for future products. I balance information security requirements,PCI-DSS, ISO27001, new tech and client expectations, ensuring innovative technologies are integrated and data is protected. I’m an active board member as I serve on the Manitoba Public Utilities Board (PUB) and on various private company boards as a director.Additionally, I am President of Paradyme Consultants Inc., a consultancy company I founded in 1988 that’s focused on providing business and tech advisory services to help small to large enterprises operationalize IT/IS and processes for turnaround or for scale-ups. We also specialize in working with startups and young companies who are seeking strategic guidance and executive-level support to catalyze their growth. We help founders with advisory on strategic road-mapping for growth, risk mitigation, innovation acceleration, operational efficiency and scalability, relationship guidance and more.I’m currently in the process of getting my ICD.D designation in addition to the existing certifications I hold (P.Eng, CRISC, and CMC).
