As well as my own consulting work, I also sit on the board of with Pakka, a sustainable paper company in India that makes compostable packaging from agricultural refuse. They tailor-make new products and constantly research and develop new ways to solve packaging problems. The results are innovative solutions to basic needs in an environmentally friendly way. At Pakka, I direct the graphic design for marketing materials, interior design of offices, help plan the strategic vision, contribute to CSR policies and HR.

In this role, I act as a communications strategist and brand guide. I review all materials and plan events. With a team of designers, printers, manufacturers, social media and other vendors, and our internal communications manager, we review the communication goals and produce materials to support the needs and vision of the company. My greatest strength is to relentlessly problem solve. I can make things happen.

I write kids books... and am delighted to be published by Scholastic, Deseret Books, Amber Jack, By Common Consent, and D Street. With 17 children's books published, I also offer consulting with people interested in fine-tuning a children's book manuscript. Living the dream!McarthurKrishna.com

Since leaving Free Range, I have been helping a variety of businesses and organizations with their marketing and business development. I write marketing plans, brainstorm outreach efforts, offer an independent voice to give new perspective, help redo websites, and act as a thought partner for organization heads. Oh yes, and plan India trips for anyone who wants to come visit!

McArthur has worked in design and communications for fifteen years and loves to create smart blends of aesthetics and effective ideas. Along the way she has fundraised, organized, and developed on behalf of hundreds of non-profits and favorite causes. At Free Range, she managed the organizational growth from a small, two-person design studio to a highly prestigious, 25-person strategic communications firm with offices in two cities. Currently, as one of the firm's partners, McArthur leads Free Range's business development and client relations team. I planned the Clean Water Network national conference as a six-month engagement.

At WVRC, I helped protect the beautiful rivers of my home state through my skills in communications and fundraising. I planned events, cultivated donors, managed membership and raised about two-thirds of the annual budget for the years I was there. WVRC continues to do amazing work.
