Murphy has cultivated successful careers in both tennis and academics during the past three years as a student-athlete attending Arizona State University. He has placed as high as #3 in the collegiate rankings, is a 3x All-American Athlete, and helped Team USA bring home the gold medal in the 2023 BNP Paribas University Games. Professionally, he has accrued three titles and played in the 2022 US Open Grand Slam. Murphy's work ethic is consistent and disciplined, which has contributed to his tennis accomplishments thus far. He shares tips and strategy with the larger tennis community by creating content for his Instagram page, OnlyForehands, which has amassed 17,000 followers in the 8 months since its launch. Additionally, his experience playing for an athletic team has taught him the importance of teamwork and making sacrifices for the greater good. In his role as the captain of the ASU Men's Tennis Team, he works hard to lead by example every day. Since starting tennis, Murphy has been fortunate enough to visit five continents and have the opportunity to collaborate with people from all over the world, enriching his ability to communicate across cultures. This experience has honed his interpersonal skills, allowing him to navigate the business world with ease. He actively invests and stays up to date on market trends.
