I hold a Laurea (BSc + Msc) cum laude in Environmental Engineering and a MSc from University of London in Sustainable Development. More than 13 years multidisciplinary professional experience in the fields of environmental / transport engineering and planning and ICT.On the engineering side, I have consulted many clients in the field of Strategic Transport Planning and Transport Modelling. I also gained considerable insight in Econometric Behavioural Models, Multicriteria Assessment Models, design and implementation of transport- related GIS platforms and RDBMS. I joined WSP Development London in 2004 where I gained broad experience in transport and traffic assessments studies and models in projects of urban development planning. In 2008, I joined Systematica SpA where I covered the role of Senior Project Manager. I coordinated the design and implementation of the whole internal transport model for the carbon-free Masdar City, Abu Dhabi (UAE) and the CATCH 7FP project. I designed two web-based css/javascript tools for the benchmarking of cities’ environmental performances. Currently, I am a consultant of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia within the “Smart City – Class A municipalities” initiative.I also possess a pluriennial experience (2005 to date) in the analysis, design and management of mixed ICT solutions (Business Intelligence and management systems) for the public administration, built on open-source technologies and platforms, for data mining, decision-making and data publication purposes. I covered the role of both team leader and manager in datawarehouse projects and initiatives for the PA, acting as interface between the client and the executers and being responsible for the communication on advancement stages, criticalities, improvements and alternative solutions. I have a proven experience in data modelling, data auditing, and metadata mapping. I am a native Italian speaker, and have gained full operational command of the English languageSpecialties: Static and dynamic modelling of innovative transport systems.Coordination of modelling activities for multimodal transport systems at regional and local level.Coordination and management of ICT project solutions for the PA.
