EOWULF is a middle-grade graphic novel series about the exploits of a reluctant monster hunter descended from the legendary hero, Beowulf. The series spins out of and continues the concepts established in the NICO BRAVO series. As with those previous books, Mike writes, draws, letters, and directs the coloring.

Designed the syllabus for and currently teaching the Digital Coloring class for undergraduate students at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. The course focuses heavily on the history and techniques of comic book coloring, but also covers the use of advanced Photoshop techniques used in animation and illustration.

Coordinated a team of artists in the production of a companion book to the "DARIA" cartoon series. This included translating the established "DARIA" color palette into Photoshop, scanning and filing of original line art, color design for the cover and interior of the book, training of the staff in the use of Photoshop, and the preparation of the finished.

Applied Watercolor and mixed-media skills in the creation of artwork for publication in this company's line of comic books. Managed a department of over ten color design artists, and was responsible for the hiring and training of new artists.
