Medical and science writer with over ten years of experience in biomedical sciences. I am trained in oncology, immunology, and immunotherapy, and have medical writing experience in gynecology, longevity/healthy aging, gastroenterology, virology, and vaccines. The services I provide for my clients include writing and editing of grant applications, scientific manuscripts (preclinical and clinical), study protocols, IRB applications, literature reviews, conference reporting, expert consensus reports, advisory boards, slide decks, and website copy. During my research career, I have managed several projects with national and international collaborators resulting in grant funding and publications. Outstanding communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability to changing situations were essential for these projects to succeed. I have obtained leadership skills by mentoring and supervising nine undergrad and grad students over five years, I planned and organized trainee career days for cancer immunotherapy conferences, and I advocated for the rights of postdocs when I was a vice-chair on the executive board of the Canadian Association for Postdoctoral Scholars.I am passionate about science communication and have therefore enjoyed presenting my data at multiple national and international conferences and meetings, communicating science with young students during volunteering activities, serving as an editor and writer for thebiogirls.com and scientistsagainstfakenews.com, and writing for various publications. Please do not hesitate to send me a message if you are interested in working with me!
