Lead & mobilize a team of 10-12 quality analysts with the following main responsibilities: execute strategic plan for supplier quality to support business unit’s overall objectives, participate in the resolution of supplier quality issues, provide support to production teams; Manage employees performance and development, while developing a winning attitude for the team & employee engagement; Responsible for compliance with all aspects of the established quality system within Bombardier Aerospace, including continual improvement and customer satisfaction requirements; Define and control the processes that link the department with external stakeholders

Expand business relationships & enhance overall performance with various commodity suppliers (built-to-print, composites, ducting, raw materials, cabinets & periphery) by conducting regular performance reviews & contributing to recovery plansLead & coach the team in commodity strategy, quality management, sourcing activities, technical requirements & Bombardier processesSupport aircraft configuration changes through supplier engagement in the change management process & resolution of technical issues; Generated approximately $4M in annual savings in 6 months by leading cost reduction projects & negotiations with the top 5 built-to-print suppliers; Initiated, managed & monitored important work transfers in order to mitigate supply risks and support production requirements; Supported collective agreement negotiations by playing a key role during the definition of the roles & responsibilities for the Logistics, Supplier Management and Quality Assurance functions
