I have spent over 20-years in the broadcast industry, and I love the million ways of creative communication that the medium has to offer.I started as a graphic designer two decades ago with a leading news channel and learnt to package the most mundane information for it to stand out and add value to the content. Once I found an outlet to my creativity through my profession, I was unstoppable. I upgraded my technical skills to learn designing software that enhanced my delivery. In the process of growing my career, I learnt management skills to execute strategies for business development and growth, implement workflows and promote uptake of new methods to upgrade the workflow.The evolving media industry brought professional opportunities for me to use my skills not just for creative work, but also in operations, content procurement and development. Enjoying executive positions in my career, I successfully launched broadcast channels for 24-hour news, entertainment and Television-Video-Commercials (TVC). I improvised on my skills and understanding of the market and target audience to make the brands stand out in their presentation, campaigns and content. Apart from a creative mind, I have excellent interpersonal skills that I use to liaise with external agencies and business partners. I enjoy meeting new people and listening to different perspectives because I believe it generates ideas, and ideas can come from anywhere, anytime.
