In my time as a senior developer, I worked on a number of applications spanning multiple areas of our business. I worked on applications (APIs and UIs) in our Supply Chain area to help optimize reporting around order status in our warehouses.I led an organization-wide effort to migrate our front-end tech stack from Angular.js (1.x) to Vue when Angular underwent a complete rewrite. This included converting dozens of shared components from Angular to Vue, writing a CLI to spin up new apps and components, figuring out a deployment pipeline, and various other DX initiatives to make it a seamless migration for 300+ developers. I also presented multiple workshops to help teach beginner and intermediate level Vue within our organization.I moved departments into our ATC and worked on custom applications supporting the WWT.com platform for the past few years. This included significant work on our public facing website wwt.com and many APIs powering the data you see on the site. Some highlights include:- Writing a recommendations engine powering data for all "recommended content" on wwt.com- Created and maintain developer tooling and integrations between Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, and other WWT infrastructure apps enabling developers to leverage automation when deploying code to automatically tag PRs and generate release notes after deployments- Built and maintained an event planning application (UI and API) to support on-campus and virtual events.
