Most proudly I advocated for the need for a 'Group' brand to take the portfolio of brands to market with a greater share of voice. As Head of Corporate Affairs my role was to protect and promote Danone's corporate reputation across the Oceania region. Drawing on my extensive experience in global communications and consumer products I worked with the company's global and local teams and agencies on the launch of the $25m upgrade of the Auckland Early Life Nutrition facility by the Hon Damien O'Connor, NZ Minister for Agriculture, consumer issues management, media relations, internal communications, EVP and proactive PR campaign development. In addition worked closely with the Export team, particularly on grey trade to China / Daigou market management and led the Oceania comms strategy for the integration of Advanced Medical Nutrition and Early Life Nutrition business to form one Specialised Nutrition business unit. Established in 1919 and head quartered in Paris, Danone is a leading global food company built on four business lines: Essential Dairy and Plant-Based Products, Early Life Nutrition, Waters and Medical Nutrition.
