Coded Photoshop mocks created by the graphic designer. Implemented a variety of microsites including http://wofford.edu/boxOffice and http://wofford.edu/strategicVision Developed many different web apps including a budget form, registration forms for alumni events, an admission deposit form, and a course preference form. Charged credit cards with the USAePay API, sent email receipts, pulled data from both SQL Server and Oracle databases via ADO.NET, uploaded files to a server, authenticated individuals using single sign-on, and altered a page based on user input. Used XSLT to take XML data stored in our CMS and transform it into valid HTML. One of lead programmers on the team that created the new, responsive Wofford.edu site which launched in February of 2015. Wrote Oracle queries against the college’s main database, Ellucian Banner, and then created Crystal Reports to put on our BusinessObjects server. Scheduled these reports to be sent out via email or put on server and assisted any faculty and staff who needed help. Accomplishments at Wofford:Developed a new version of the Online Giving page that brought in $250,000+ in donations during its first six months due to it being more user-friendly. Cut data entry time by 50% by automating some content creation in our CMS. Rebuilt a SQL query by selecting only necessary columns and using tables instead of slow, clunky views. After these changes, the query ran in under five seconds instead of four minutes. Documented and improved processes to save time. Calculated values using SQL instead of manually changing them to minimize time spent on yearly changes to webpages and reports.

Used HTML, CSS, XML, jQuery, XSLT, ASP.NET, VB, and Ektron content management system (CMS) to update and maintain the Wofford College website. Responsibilities included:Converting webpage mocks the web designer created in Photoshop to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Using VB.NET to code registration forms that charge a credit card, send an email and save to a table in a SQL Server database.
