About Brian Mccombs

I am a "hands on", highly adaptable, creative, data driven leader that thrives in forward thinking cultures and work environments. I have a combined 15+ years of manufacturing experience ranging from small business to OEM automotive. Early in my career I worked as a technician while putting myself through school where I established the technical foundation of my skill sets, while building relationships with people in and around production environments.Shortly after university studies, I moved onto becoming an engineer and process specialist responsible for key performance metrics in my first mid sized corporation in Central Tennessee. Shortly there after, I found myself being offered a job for a small startup company in California called Tesla Motors.Throughout my career at Tesla, I spent time scaling existing manufacturing processes, planning future turnkey projects, performing analysis & project management to SOP, leading operational improvements to drive KPI‘ s while improving the quality of products, reliability of assets, and reducing costs! I have worn every hat from Engineer, Project Manager, Lean Coach, Value Stream Manager to Operations Manager. I’ve managed teams that range from 5 to 300 people with high impact results that are quantified with data.

Listed skills include Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 44 others.
