ACT & SAT Curriculum Developer and Entrepreneur with a Purpose -- committed to life-long education, continual self-improvement, and promoting social justice. To that end, I build tools that empower tutors, teachers, and test prep professionals to better prepare high school students for college admissions. I oversee the development of our engaging and effective curriculum in the form of printed materials (2200+ pages), online database of test prep questions (5000+ problems), and video solutions (100+ hours). On a personal note: I make a point of expanding my vocabulary daily. For amusement, I frequently respond to perfunctory questions from uninterested people (e.g. "How are you today?") with unexpectedly genuine answers. I was voted "best actor" at my high school, but I haven't touched the stuff since. I appreciate a good story, well told. I play drums, but I haven't got a set presently. As a teenager, I played goalkeeper for a summer in Europe. I enjoy hiking and camping, but I don't sleep under the stars as often as I'd like. I "read" more audiobooks than books because I can't sit still. I was once selected for a poorly conceived MTV pilot, which I'm eternally thankful never got aired. I judge people who use poor grammar. Growing up, I worked on a farm where I learned to appreciate country music and hard work. I'm approximately 50% more productive with caffeine and headphones. I remember my dreams more often than not. I enjoy writing in general, and I'm enjoying writing this, specifically. I've lived in Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Seal Beach -- blame the longshore current. I was quite rightly diagnosed ADHD in high school, and to this day I find it requires deliberate effort to unplug from work and get to bed on time.
