Rep. Terri McCormick represented a state house position in NorthEast Wisconsin. She is a former Wisconsin Truman Scholar, Two Time Guardian of Small Business Award Recipient, Scales of Justice Award Recipient by the State Bar of Wisconsin, Eisenberg Award Winner by the State Public Defender's Office, and recognized as one of three top award winners by the United States Small Business Administration in Washington D.C. McCormick is also recognized as the founder and writer of the first charter school laws in the state of Wisconsin and leader in education reform in the United States.

Acted as the Chief Administrative Officer within an upper class residence hall at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. Managed a six member team paraprofessional university staff. Facilitated programs for administrative training for crisis management and communications for this staff. Created residence programs to promote a positive culture within the university for student growth and development.

As the Human Resource Program Director, I worked closely with both the University Directors of Housing and the Conference Center. My position required the evaluation of current quality service and staff delivery systems, in the mission of transformation of the Conference Center to a more professional and para professional staff. Skill sets included the development and writing of employee handbooks, as well as training and development programs. A renewed focus on university student growth and development was used in training with the primary goal of improved quality service for the Conference Center's guests.
